About five years ago, I decided to buy a car from my friend who had an older used car lot. I had worried about my friend's ability to fix cars, but for some reason that didn't stop me from buying a car from him. After I took the car home, I quickly realized that there were a few significant problems. The engine had trouble, and for the life of me I couldn't get the air conditioning to work. Unfortunately, my friend wouldn't take the car back. After that day, I made it a goal to teach other people what to look for in an auto dealer.
